On tap at Strahov monastery brewpub, Prague. Roasty aroma with distinct red fruits, caramel, maybe some licorice and wood. Light, creamy, roasty, malty, develops a woody bitterness and a dry finish. Medium body, soft carbonation. Malty character. Very good.

On tap at Strahov monastery brewpub, Prague. Semi-clear amber with a frothy off white head, long lasting but diminishing. Malty, some grain and some fruits. Light, malty, some bitterness, otherwise sweet. Medium body, could have fuller taste, soft carbonation. Drinkable, but to light, similar to their summer ale.

On tap at Strahov monastery brewpub, Prague. Seasonal. Hazy pale yellow, strong white creamy head, lively in the glass, visible bubbles. Aroma is light banana, hints of fruits due to the yeast. Sweet and refreshing, although maybe to light. Yeast aftertaste and a light finish. Good summer drink, but had better weizens.

Bottle, 6.3%. Incense and soap aroma?! Hazy dark copper colour. Small stable creamy white head. The flavour has a good clean bitterness to begin with, and then comes a caramelly and fruity, well-balanced sweetness. It stays very clean all the way through. Not a powerful IPA, but it stands out because of its balance.

On tap at the brewpub. Deep amber with an off-white head. Malty aroma with lots of citrus and light notes of caramel. Moderate to medium sweet with grapefruit and caramel and a fairly bitter finish. Refreshing and nice summer beer. More bitter than expected, but quite sessionable. --- Beer merged from original tick of Summer Red Ale 11° on 29 Jun 2015 at 20:41 - Score: 6

On tap at the brewpub. Dark mahogany coloured with a beige head. Malty aroma with dark fruits, some roasty notes, dried dark fruits, caramel and herbs. Medium to moderate sweet with nice malty flavours and a balanced bitterness. Smooth, but feels a bit light too, anyway easy to drink and quite tasty. --- Beer aliased from original tick of Special Dark Beer on 29 Jun 2015 at 20:19 - Score: 7
