500ml can from Home Bargains. Deep, ruddy, brown with a short-lived, off-white, head. Aroma of brown sugar, toasty malts and red berry sweetness. Flavour had candy sugar notes, more berry fruits, with some christmas cake malts and spice, before a boozy, rich finish. Pretty good.

500ml can from Home Bargains. It pours clear darkest ruby with a medium fluffy khaki head. The aroma is toasty, earthy roasted malt, nutty, dark fruits/berries, cherry, raisin, plum, date, dull charry/smokey vibes and sticky molasses. The taste is dry, charred, rich roasted malt, touch of burnt toast, umami, treacle, molasses, malt loaf, dried and dark fruits, cherry cola, plum, fig, some dark roast coffee, touch of tannin and alcohol presence with a drying, bitter - sweet finish. Medium body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Pretty ok. Nice dark fruitiness, but also a bit of burnt toast. Alright.
