Description
United Dutch Breweries in Breda was created when the Belgian Interbrew closed the Breda Oranjeboom brewery in 2004, which it had taken over in 1995. Oranjeboom's export department carried out a management buy-out and continued independently with Oranjeboom's brand portfolio, which was acquired from Interbrew. The beers are not brewed anymore in Breda but elsewhere.

Bought in Amman. Hugely malty, acerbic scent. Taste has bourbon notes, hugely unpleasant dark rye elements. Palate is much like a scotch ale, except note nearly as refined. Not good.

Canned 500 ml in Amman. Clear yellow with short lasting small white head. Malty, lots of alcohol, some weird aromas. Warming. Some more alcohol in finish. Barely drinkable and it gets worse by each sip. Pretty awful.
