Description
United Dutch Breweries in Breda was created when the Belgian Interbrew closed the Breda Oranjeboom brewery in 2004, which it had taken over in 1995. Oranjeboom's export department carried out a management buy-out and continued independently with Oranjeboom's brand portfolio, which was acquired from Interbrew. The beers are not brewed anymore in Breda but elsewhere.

As X-Mark Vodka Spirit, brewed by La Goudale, Arques.
Can. Golden color, clear, white head. Aroma; sweet, lemonade, malt, candy, not enough alcohol from vodka. Taste: sweetish, a little alcohol with sugar and lemonade, light malt, pretty bad.

mild slightly flowery aroma, euro-hoppy-bitter. maybe an english style IPA? it is bitter from hops and alc. but not the aromatic pine grapefruit kind they do in USA.
flavor is flowery, alc. bitterness, pilsener like neutral almost metallic bitterness, end is flowery and slightly yellow fruity sweet , a bit like a belgian blonde or tripel perhaps. fairly tasty but has this macro metallic bitterness going that could be improved on.

clear orange, huge smooth beige head.
mild but quite hoppy aroma, malts, hops are slighlty piney and grapefruity but mostly rather tasteless and a bit flowery. like a macro IPA.
flavor is quite hoppy bitter, flowery notes, alc. like bitterness, the bitterness almost more closely resembles the bitterness you would find in a pilsener than the one you'd find in an american ipa. An English IPA could be like this, but would probably be a bit more aromatic. I think this is a macro booze-bomb disguised as an Imperial IPA. It certanly is very traditionally european, not american.

Bottle, from Food Bazaar, Queens New York. Pours clear light gold with a large foamy off-white head, sweet malt aroma, medium carbonation, mildly bitter malty taste, very faint orange peel and delayed flavor of coriander, thin body, long finish. Not very remarkable, I could not get much of the orange or coriander.

can bought in hersonisos, crete
mild aroma, slightly sort of fruity or boozy or energy-drinky note, the aroma is sort of in between an energy drink and a radler.

flavor is dusty, citrus , sweet malts, a skunky alc. like bitterness, the rum can be sensed but is not overly in the flavor - probably fortunately - the base beer seems a bit weak reg. trying to balance the added flavors. too alc. bitter and skunky to be really a thirst quencher, and not really a big treat in and of itself. could be worse though.

24/4/2025. Can bought at the Norwich Arts Centre fundraiser following World Beer Awards. Enjoyed from the can at the speedway watching Ipswich Witches vs Birmingham Brummies. Taste is quite bitter and tinny. Fizzy and watery. Not great.
