Description
United Dutch Breweries in Breda was created when the Belgian Interbrew closed the Breda Oranjeboom brewery in 2004, which it had taken over in 1995. Oranjeboom's export department carried out a management buy-out and continued independently with Oranjeboom's brand portfolio, which was acquired from Interbrew. The beers are not brewed anymore in Breda but elsewhere.

Bottle, from Food Bazaar, Queens New York. Pours clear light gold with a large foamy off-white head, sweet malt aroma, medium carbonation, mildly bitter malty taste, very faint orange peel and delayed flavor of coriander, thin body, long finish. Not very remarkable, I could not get much of the orange or coriander.

can bought in hersonisos, crete
mild aroma, slightly sort of fruity or boozy or energy-drinky note, the aroma is sort of in between an energy drink and a radler.
flavor is dusty, citrus , sweet malts, a skunky alc. like bitterness, the rum can be sensed but is not overly in the flavor - probably fortunately - the base beer seems a bit weak reg. trying to balance the added flavors. too alc. bitter and skunky to be really a thirst quencher, and not really a big treat in and of itself. could be worse though.

24/4/2025. Can bought at the Norwich Arts Centre fundraiser following World Beer Awards. Enjoyed from the can at the speedway watching Ipswich Witches vs Birmingham Brummies. Taste is quite bitter and tinny. Fizzy and watery. Not great.
