On tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy, straw yellow, topped with a medium small white head, not lasting. Lots of white bread in the aroma, a bit soury feel to it. Harsh herbal bitterness. A bit of sweetness, but mostly herbal bitterness. Quite dusty feel and a metallic finish. Not my type really.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours very hazy, fiery amber colour, topped with a medium sized, creamy offwhite head. Mild and pleasant aroma, quite bready and a bit biscuity, stale bread and a bit of old musty cellar nose. Sweet biscuity/bready start, slightly soury grains, mild bitterness. A bit spicy, peppery finish. Lighter body, almost a bit watery. Nothing special, really.

Some sherry notes, sweet but with some acidity.Interesting, but definitively not what it was supposed to be.

Murky brown color, no head. Leathery aroma, old Barley Wine, Old Ale; chestnut honey. Oily mouthfeel, deep malt flavor, the leathery acidity and light cherry flavor add multiple dimensions; sweet, warm.
Excellent

From tap at U Medvídků, Prague, 26.11.17. Cloudy pale straw colour. Foamy, dense and persistent head and lacing. Fruity aroma, with Czech hops, pilsner malt, meadows and succade. Similar taste, with medium bitterness. Also a sligt hint of butterscotch.

330ml bottle (thx, Olya M.!) shared with Farees. Vintage 2011. Pours like an oil, clear amber with no head. Aroma is very sweet with dark fruits, some cherries and barrel notes. Similar taste. This beer is huge and, yes, "Do not drink it alone", since it really hard to finish a bottle.
