Draught @ the taproom (Nov 2023). Clear dark brown with red highlights, very small frothy beige head, caramel-coffee aroma, adequate carbonation, bitter caramel-coffee taste, smooth body, long coffee finish. Not too bad.

Shaker pint draft at the brew pub in Villa Park, Illinois. Pour is a really cloudy dark copper with an egg white smallish head. Aroma is fresh resin, light citrus, floral and a hint of pine hops. Some nice toasty malt in there as well. Taste is equally fresh, with a nice balance between the floral citrus grapefruit hops and the fresh toasted cracker malt. Finishes dry with some mineral and clove yeast. The clove is more grapefruit after it opens up some. Palate is medium bodied, unfiltered mouthfeel, a touch under carbonated - dry and drinkable.

Shaker pint draft at the brew pub in Villa Park, Illinois. Pour is orange haze with a smallish white head. Aroma is grass, straw and some light citrus notes. Taste is the grassy citrus, I suppose that would be lemongrass up front, followed by a nice cracker malt. There is a sweetness as well, which is also a citrus sweetness. I got a touch of soap cleanser as well, not sure if that was from the glass or in the beer - didn’t detract too much. Palate is light bodied, unfiltered mouth feel and a crisp clean finish. Really easy to drink.
