Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. It pours a clear, slightly pale golden body and a small off-white head. Weak on the nose, and weak flavor too. Pleasant though, of the kind that downs easily, but it should be more pronounced. Pale malts, grassy, piney hops and some bitterness. Dry, medium body, maybe a bit sweet towards the end. A pleasant one, but a bit weak I think. 110128

(bottle) Cloudy, reddish brown colour with a tall and steady tanned foamy head. Sourish berry-fruity aroma with notes of wheat-malt, a tinge of vanilla and very little roast-character. Sour and slightly sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a lively carbonation. Wheaty malty and berry-fruity taste with shy hints of caramel; sour and slightly sweet wheaty and fruity finish. Too sour for the style. 24.IV.11

(bottle, courtesy of Quack-Duck) Cloudy, orange-golden colour with a blond and tall foamy head. Classical Hefeweizen scent: yeasty wheat-malty aroma with notes of banana, bubblegum and citric sourness in the background. Quite sour flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation for a Hefeweizen. Wheaty and yeasty taste with notes of citrus, grapefruit and a tinge of banana; sour-fruity and delicately sweet finish. Perhaps a tad too sour for the style. 24.IV.11

(bottle, courtesy of Quack-Duck) Clear, dark brown and slightly ruby colour with a dense medium sized tanned foamy head. Mildly toasted malty aroma with subtle berry-fruity notes and a tinge of hops. Moderately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Slightly toasty and leafy malty taste with shy traces of herbal hops; mildly sweet and shy bitter hoppy finish. Not that bad but also not really convincing for a Dunkel. 21.IV.11
