Nice clean fresh attractive beer smell. A little bitter, almost astringent on the first bite. Decent co2. Yes, as the session continues, that slight astringency comes thru the more. Has a typical 4 bros backbone. Finish with some sharp personality. Probably not as reserved as most old country English ales, JMHO.

Quite dark. Has almost a pepsin aroma about it. Taste is generally mild. Slight roasty feel in there. Mild co2 sizzle. Easy to take, rather friendly in its own roasty beer way. Good job on this one.

Very mild attractive impy stout aroma. Yes, initially quite strong but it does hide this 9+% well. It’s quite reserved, one of the more civilized impy stouts I’ve had in long long time. Smooth and rather creamy, almost like a friendly oatmeal or dry stout with a kick in the ass. Can really tolerate this and I don’t care for contemporary impy stout. Some mild co2 in this makes it quite palatable for a lager lover. IMHO this is much better than most impy stouts, I’ll have to look at my stats and see how it compares. Much better than expected, considering the nasty style.

Tap at brewery. Looks like a brown ale. Nice light malty aroma. Yes, there is rye in there but don’t think its gonna be an IPA, its not. Its more like a conservatively brewed ale with a tad of tartness. Yes, is more like a brown ale with rye compared to most ales. I’m not an IPA fan and I think this is a great beer but if you want a typical IPA blast, go elsewhere.

Dark brown. Friendly smell, like it has a slight malty yeasty background. Taste is nice mild ropey thing. Easy going and fun to be with. I like this. Good stuff, well done. Really enjoyable. Yes, there is just enough bitterness in there to let you know its beer but its never in yer face.

Slight yeast aroma. Yes, spice fer sure, however, not over the top. A darker cloudy ale light brown in appearance. Not black tho. Yes youcould taste all the spices but no clear definition of any particular spice. Interesting, not many spiced beers out there I like but this is OK stuff.

On tap at the pub. From the start I found this to be an enjoyable fruit beer. It rises above the noise of so many ill brewed fruit brews. Cloudy with an off arrange vanilla color that barely has a tinge of pink. Very nice aroma that never comes across as artificial. First impression is nice easy raspberry on the backbone of a well done wit bier, lovely and fun. So much better than most fruit beers fer sure. Yes, a fun and easy beery berry experience. Light co2 makes it rather enjoyable. I could drink this all day. No hint of alky anyplace in this brew.

I’m not sure why they call this style bitter, all the good examples I’ve had are never really bitter, go figger. Dark and friendly looking. Smell is rather malty. Initially I barely detect any co2 in there. The taste is is medium gentle mild with a ESB feel there fer sure. Reasonably good bitter that stands up with the best of the style I’ve tasted. Good overall friendly impressions. Well done and well balanced. Nice!

Big & black with a nice choco moose head. First taste is smooth and easy, surprising for a beer rated near 7%. Yes, this brew hides its alky content well. Never leaves the realm of good sweet stout. Fun. Well mannered and civilized. For sure this is one of my favorite beers at this place. One of the better sweet stouts I’ve had in a while, its right there with the well behaved lower alky versions. Yummy, good job 4 bros. Slight bite of old wet partially burned campfire wood for a pleasant finish. Good overall beer experience!

Nice initial mild coffee aroma. Big & black presentation. No head to speak of. Whew, first taste is just what the name implies; coffee. Not quite as gritty and rude as most coffee beers. Yes, coffee all over but done in a way that is not offensive. Alky is well hidden in the brew, you’d never know it was near 6%. Well balanced coffee wise. I’m not much of coffee beer lover but this goes down well. Retains many good stout attributes throughout.
