Mild smell of tart cherries in cola or rootbeer. Darker brown. No head. Mouth coating thick and strong. Somewhat sweet as well. Rum is well hidden. Yes, cherries fer sure. The rum sneaks up in the end. Not bad for a strong ale.

If you like pale lager this cream ale will attract you; slightly more haze than a clear pale lager it comes across as something different but not more than I can accept. Almost orange yellow in appearance. Light fresh beery aroma. First taste impressions are really good co2, then the almost tart thing follows with a middle that continues into the gentle cream ale arena. Yes, a slight tartness sticks its head up but in an enjoyable & intriguing manner. In the end I’m thinking this comes across as berliner weiss, an almost tart wheat based filtered beer. So good, it ROCKS according to my lager loven taste buds and isn’t this what tis all about anyway?

Tap source. Darker brown. Nice mellow dark flavors considering the alky content of this. Yes, smooth for a higher alky brown. Not bad. First taste comes across as a stronger ale but never gits into the imperial category. Yes, civilized and well behaved. Friendly even in the middle. Strong and impressive yet it retains the drinkability factor throughout.

Tap source. Let me say that I am no fan of high alky beers and too often the domestic quad comes across like a rude american barley wine or even a really strong american ale. This is not. It is rather civilized, like the old country. A belgian ale with plums I’m told. Brownish. Sweet smell. Difficult first impression of almost cloying but never quite gets there. Does not seem like 12%. There is a warming sensation,l so I know its quite high in alky, its just you wouldn’t know it. Yes, this is not quite as volatile, nor high alky as you would think, be careful, it will give you a good kick in the knoggin.

Overall this is probably one of the better, less in yer face, impy stouts I’ve had. So many times impy stouts want to bowl you over but, this is just out to give you a positive impression. Decent brew from the start. Big & black. Looks like it’s large and in charge. Sweeter mild chocolate aroma. Black coffee taste fer sure from the start. This is followed by a bitter dark chocolate flavor that is not like the typical smack you alky feel, a little better than that. It’s not astringent and its fresh. Yes, a milder impression for such a heavy duty alky content. Decent co2 continues and makes this brew acceptable. Quite drink-able in the end. Over all, a not bad impy stout and I very much dislike impy stouts.

Very dark. Has a very sweet candy nose. First taste is sweet figs. Warms as the session continues, however, it never burns like the near 10% stated. Well behaved and I’m quite surprised how well this goes down. Never cloying like so many other high alky sweet beers. Bourbon effects are muted by the figs. You better be careful with this pone, its quite a quite powerful wolf-like beer hiding behind some fig flavored sheep clothing.

Tap at source. Black with a reddish hue. A dark beer nose laced with sweet cherry, attractive bouquet. A mild dark beer taste with hints of old burned damp campfire coals. Cherry backbone follows but its not over done. Gets better int he middle. Possesses some of that stout character in the end. Nice job petrucci. Could drink a few of these.

A very well made pumpkin beer. Not overly spiced and it well balanced with real pumpkin flavors. i like these beers that use real pumpkin in their brew.

At the brewpub. Nice and dark with an appealing porter aroma. Taste does have some very mild punky, but for the most part, this is simply a very good well behaved porter. Yes, good friendly co2 within. Good brew IMHO. Finish is civilized aged old wet partially burned campfire wood. Nice that we have a friendly pumpkin beer here that is not overly full of revolting pumpkin spices for a change.

Probably one of the most on style IPAs this brewery makes. Iced tea color. Smell is like a good IPA, floral perfume and such, no BO. Big strong IPA flavors. Terribly on style. In the background there is a little of the blood orange but it is not in yer face and its well balanced. Yes, finish is big IPA bordering on imperial stature with a tad of blood orange in the end. If you like IPA, ignore my numbers and try this one. I’m not an IPA fan and I rate em as I enjoy em.

Tap at the brewpub. Slight pumpkin spice smell. Good sizzle. Medium tart first impressions. Looks like hazy light iced tea. Very nice for a pumpkin beer considering I don’t like pumpkin beers. Not bad and not over spiced.
