Hazy gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is airy, semi dry and crispy. Sweet malts, fair bit of that lactose like sweetness. A little cream. Mild hop spice. Crystallised orange fruits, touch of peel. Piney finish, semi dry. Not bad but a bit heavy on the milky sweetness.

Very hazy orange - amber beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is light, fairly dry and has a fine minerally crispness. Thin malts. Tea! Light tea. Bitterish citric peel. Light floral things. Liptons lemon tea. Strongly bitter floral finish. Interesting!

Bottlshare at Mr Smith’s pad. Almost clear deep red- brown beer, thin pale tan head. Palate is airy, semi dry and has reasonable fine carbonation. Smooth and mild dark malts, just a touch of bitter roast. Mild caramel. Lactose like sweetness underneath. Trace of berry fruits. Finishes light and semi dry with some floral bitterness running through to a bitter linger. Not bad.

Tap (Kontynuacja, Wroclaw). Barwa czarna, piana mega drobna, srednio obfita ale cienki kozuszek utrzymuje sie bardzo dlugo ladnie zdobiac szklo. W aromacie czekolada, praliny, jakby delikatna mieta, czekoladki mietowe, ziola w kazdym razie bardzo interesujaca kompozycja . Czekolada podkreslona ziolowymi nutami to smak przewodni. Piwo bardzo gladkie, delikatne, pijalne. Ciekawa wariacja porteru, lekka i pijalna. Butelka 330ml (10.07.2016). W aromacie bryluje imbir a palonosc jest gdzies dalej w tle. Podobnie w smaku gdzie wszystko inne jest mocno przykryte przez nuty imbiru.

Pours slightly hazy, reddish amber, toasted top. Aroma has some hop skunk, not my favourite sensation. I wonder if that is from the selection of hops or is the hop profile already changed - although there is more than three more months left. It does not feel overly fresh though, maybe these beers have real short shelf life and should be drunk within weeks from bottling? Taste reveals more of the same, I think this has also something to do with the hop choice, need to learn what hops are creating this. There is some intense bitterness but that is not really a pleasant one, at least not for me. Heavy and alcoholic, not that easy to drink. Fruitiness is there, also malt body - but the combination feels sort of sticky and this directionless bitterness really wears me out. Sorry.

Flavour is composed of sweet caramel, burnt apple, liquorice, tart berry. Palate is semi sweet, moderate carbonation. Burnt toast and caramel.

Pours dark brown, maybe even some reddish hue there. Not much foam though, just a bit of beige bubbles, not even covering the surface. Aroma has toffee, roast and a bit of hidden sweet caramel. Taste is light, has some hoppy bitterness, which feels nice, mainly roast and caramel, maybe hazelnuts also - but you need to use your imagination to dissect that. Overall, nicely clean porter, body is quite watery but there is still enough flavour, so maybe this one is meant for full pints. Simple, highly drinkable porter.

Bottle shared in London - thanks to Kenny. Pours deep brown with a frothy, tan head. Well toasted grainy bread, aged berries, oily pine. Medium sweet flavour with bitter scorched earth, charred grains, cocoa, leathery berries. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Lightly resinous on the finish, with some cocoa, dried berries, earth, burnt pine. Not bad.

Bottle split at Bespin, thanks to Polish Essex, 14/04/16. Rich mahogany brown with a moderate beige covering that dissipates edgeward. Nose is treacle toffee, light spice, pine, tea leaves, trace of roast maltings. Taste comprises caramel, cocoa, light pine, earthy hop, pine dusting, tickle of liqourice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close peppered with earthy hop bitterness. Ok CDA.
