Jun. ’16. On tap at Leopold’s, Split. It poured a hazy deep golden body with medium sized head atop. Lemony, herbal and biscuit to grainy aroma. Flavor was lightly sweet, bready, fruity and biscuity. Also moderately hoppy with floral, lemon and herbal bitter notes that got more prominent and even dominated the finish. Medium to full bodied and smooth. I expected something weird&crazy, but this was quite ordinary pils. A really tasty one though.

Jun. ’16. A 0.33 l bottle at Leopold’s, Split. Served too cold. It poured hazy yellow body with a tiny head. Nice lemony, orange, wheat-banana aroma, with lesser notes of other tropical fruits and some coriander. Lightly bitter and lightly sweet flavor, wheat estery with a subtle spicy notes other than coriander. Light, still fine and actually full bodied for a wit. Shorter lemony and chalky finish, anyway. A tasty wit, very nice for the style, and yes, pretty enriched with Weizen characteristic or two, but closer to the Belgian anyway!

Bottle, 5.5%. Dusty and soapy aroma. Clear dark brown colour. Good stable light brown head. The flavour has a sweet liquorice touch but is not sweet as such. Mild creamy note, late bitterness. A simple beer but good.

Draught @ Pivnica Medvedgrad, Zagreb. Pours hazy copper brown with airy off-white head. Clear aroma of malt and caramel, with some estery hints. Sweetish flavour of the same, with mild, bitter notes of hops. Estery and slightly caramellish afteraste. No carbonation. Well, not very impressive.
