On tap at Pivo a párek - Korunní, pours a mostly clear golden orange with a small white head. Aroma has bitter, slightly metallic, piney hops, with a crisp biscuity malt base. Flavour has some metallic notes, bitter pine, a touch of butter, and crisp biscuity malt. Metallic, buttery, and crisp finish. Nope, this doesn’t work.

Tap at PaP Korunní with mcberko. Hazy golden body, off-white head. Jammy, bit citric aroma, light maltiness, some DMS. Smooth taste, jammy, vaguely citric and bitterish. Bit stale, borderline with buttery, but kinda flawed-but-okay if you disregard the fact it doesn't taste like much of an IPA.

Tap at Pivo a párek Korunní with mcberko. Hazy dark brown body, thick off-white head. Toasty, bit nutty, somewhat roasty malt-driven aroma. Lean, dry taste, bit roasty, soapy and leathery-earthy. Not bad!

Tap at Žatecká Dočesná. Clear dark golden body, lasting thick white head. Honeyish maltiness, light floral hoppy touches. Lean, dryish taste, honeyish and floral notes and... you guesssed it - DMS. Passable nonetheless, a maltier take at the style, but as long as they all of their beers are so DMS-riddled, they won't build much of a reputation again beyond piggybacking on the old ride. And it might be a very resolvable problem!

Tap at Žatecká Dočesna. Slightly hazy golden body, white head. Floral, dusty aroma, bit herbal, okay.... but the taste is a mess, lean, dry, vegetal ovel herbal hops, DMS overload here. Nah - I feel it's decent when the DMS doesn't overwhelm it, and the new micro has big problems with it.

Tap at Žatecká Dočesna 2024. Funny how they recycled a random beer name from before - but it may have been the closest to this. Dark golden body, white head. Herbal hops, some grainy maltiness in the aroma, quite okay. Lean, dry taste, nicely floral at first, light maltiness, sadly, with some DMS presence, not much bitterness. Okay really, but...

Bottle 0.75l purchased at U Orloje, Žatec. Almost clear, deep gold colored. AROMA- pleasantly malty, nice Saaz character. FLAVOR- neutral, moderately bitter, malty, noble hops, unfortunately not small amount of DMS, too. Medium bodied. Still not so bad.
