750ml wired cork bottle from Beerhive, Edinburgh, as "Le Cidre Brut". Opened with a pop. Sparkling golden colour, bubbly white foam head and aroma of juicy apple, caramel, funk. Taste is sweetish, appley, juicy, caramel, leather, orchardy funk with bittersweet tannin. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, medium drying tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.

330ml bottle from Cidrerie Sorre. Pours a misty, slightly murky golden blonde, gentle effervescence. Big tonka presence, strong aroma, nicely blended to taste, light hints of each taking turns to come through. Quite different, feared the worst but actually don't mind it at all.

330ml bottle from Cidrerie Sorre. Pours a clear gold, thin foamy ring atop. Aroma has a bright citrussy hoppy sweetness, medium-sweet apple fruit. Flavour profile is medium sweet, the hoppy presence chiming nicely with the apple fruit, though not especially citrussy. Tangy acidic close. Not bad, one of the better ones from this herboriste series.

330ml bottle from Cidrerie Sorre. Pours gold with yeast in suspension, small foamy ring atop. Distinctly herbal nose, faint liquorice. Expected prominant mint and defined yuzu citrus, but there's a melange of other assorted herbal elements coming to the fore, bringing to mind aniseed and liquorice, very mild mint presence and even less yuzu though some citrus is present. A little odd, and can't imagine it appealing to many people, but interesting to try.

330ml bottle from Cidrerie Sorre. Drunk watching Herbie Goes to Montecarlo on New Years Eve 2024. Pours a deep hazed amber, gentle carbonation. Scuzzy medium sweet tone with some pantry cupboard grain and farleys rusks which is arguably not beneficial, but overall still quite a fresh fruity cider.

75cl bottle watching 2001 A Space Odyssey on Christmas Eve 2024. Excellent. Such a lovely floral character, perhaps a peachy hint to a clean, medium fruitiness, certainly characterful apples used, fine spritz, refined with soft rosé hints.

75cl bottle from the producer. Clear deep gold, gentle effervescence. Aroma of stewed apple fruit, light spice. Caramelised fruit comes through well on the palate, moderately sweet, soft stewed fruit echoes, perhaps a hint of cinnamon. Nice harmonious Doux.

330ml bottle from Cidrerie Sorre. Pours a deep gold, gentle carbonation. Quite a characterful cider, interesting sweetness from the chestnut. Perhaps a hint of brown sugar, distant rum and spiced cinnamon vanilla.. light dusting of tannin. Really nice.

75cl bottle from Cidrerie Sorre. Pours a clear pale gold, bright effervesence. Distinctly floral nose. Quite spritzy on the palate, very floral sweet, whilst remaining light and fresh with mild perry pear notes. Nice refresher.
