Borefts XI. Day 2. Bottle - thanks for sharing. Hazy dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Smooth and softish palate, reasonable fine carbonation. Soft fluffy malts, a mild creamy sweetness. Modest piney hops. Decent bitterish citric hop on the smooth dry finish. Okay CDA.

Fles op vakantie geprobeerd. Het is een donkerbruin bier met een volle schuimkraag. Het heeft een zoete moutige en gebrande geur. De smaak is moutig, chocolade achtig en kruidig.

Bottle at home. Darker reddish huge sized white head. A bit musty aroma, somewhat hoppy, bit also old and a bit sourish. Not nice.

[ As Reeuwijk Dark IPA ].
ABV: 7.0%. Hazy medium brown colour with a small, fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, roasted, moderate hoppy, citrus, flowers. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, roasted, dark malt, yeast, fruity yeast - fruity hops, smoke - ash. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to lively. [20190928]

Bottle shared tasting. Murky ugly light orange color, average sized white head. Aroma is oranges, orange peel and somewhat old hops. Flavor is malts, again oranges, orangepeel and over the top citrus with a light tart hint. Meh.

Flesje gedronken tijdens proeverijtje, gedeeld door Benzai. Bleek bruin troebel bier met matig schuim. Aroma is hoppig en ook fruitig. Smaak fruitig (sinaasappel). Nasmaak is iets bitter.

Fles gedeelt door Benzai, geprobeerd met Inoven en Keukeman. Het is een troebel oranje bruin bier met een volle witte schuimkraag. Het heeft een hoppige wat harsige geur. De smaak is hoppig en harsig met een wat wrange afdronk.
