Bottle. Clear red amber with a cream head. Aroma is jammy with almonds, baking spices, oak. Quite sour and a bit vinegary. Cherries are a little more prominent than I recall them in the normal version. Torched sugary dough, some twigs, firm oak. Another one that's both good and intriguing from La Sirène.

Bottle. Luminous deep gold with a modest raft of bubbles that's soon gone. Aroma of sweet plums and old lemon sourness, bracken. I'd guess the plums are those small yellow ones. Really quite sour and with a fair bit of body. Carbonation is very low. Good, deep flavours but lacks the lightness of the peach and raspberry version.

Can. Clear mahogany with a few bubbles that don't last long enough to form a head. Aroma of sharpish dark fruits, dark vinegar, an almost sticky richness, oak. But the promised breadth doesn't eventuate because it's a bit too acidic (indeed, popping into the kitchen for a moment, the aroma is less sweet smelling than actual Sherry vinegar). So after some somewhat thin fruity sourness, there's some tangy oak. Didn't quite work.

Can. Just unclear pale gold with a good cm of frothy whit head. 3+ Soft aroma of light bread and crackers with a hint of biscuit, lemon, grass, flowers. Fairly light bodied, lowish carbonation. A slick touch is welcome and rounds out what could otherwise be austere malt. Firm bitterness is floral and peppery. Creeps up after a while. Cheery rather than polished. Good.

Can. Just unclear yellowish orange with a vanishing white head. Wouldn't be 100% by the aroma that there are fruit additions - Dubbinish mango, funky cracker dough, grilled pineapple, the barn. Only 7 probably because I don't really like mango. Lowish carbonation, getting towards medium bodied. Upon a taste the fruit really seem accents to light sweetness balancing the mannered sourness. A drying woody finish but the sourness lingers. Typically classy drop.

Can. Cloudy brownish pink, no head. Sharpish aroma of lemon, cracker dough that's been sitting a bit, bracken and yes, grapes. Very low carbonation. Alive, slippery. Sour but not vinegary. Some raspberries, old lemons, twigs. Mellower than suggested by the aroma. Nice drop. bb 8/22 and in a can - both a little surprising.

Bottle. Gold with a white head that doesn't last. Aroma of damp grain, old lemons, peach, oak. 8+ Sourer than suggested by the aroma, with the raspberries much more prominent too. Lightish bodied, perhaps slightly slippery, spritzy. A great balance of grainy funk, moderate sourness, fruit and oak.

Can. Very pale cloudy orange with a modest white head. Aroma of light dough, coriander, vanilla, peach, pears, oranges. Light bodied, fizzy. Drying but not brusque with pears and light dough holding up spices and lowish bitterness. Mot quite what the stronger one from a few years ago was, but refreshing.
