Can, 2020 vintage. Rich milk chocolate aroma with notes of roasted malt, vanilla, caramel, salt and lactose. Pours deep brown with a thin mocha brown head that has little retention and a thin ring of faint lacing. Starts with rich chocolate, roasted malt and lactose sugar flavors as well as having a rich, full body and silky smooth, decadent mouthfeel. Finishes decadently smooth with caramel, salt and vanilla flavors. Sticky sweet and almost overwhelming, but still luxurious.

Can pour shared by ClarkVV--thanks, Clark! Opaque dark brown with nice viscosity, no head or lacing. Aroma is strong chocolate, cake, coconut, pecan, mild barrel offset. Taste is strong as aroma but some alcohol harshness. Full bodied, thick texture, soft carbonation with only very late hint of alcohol. Unbelievably nice for 17%!

16 oz can Thank you Clark!!! Wow! Aroma is really great! Bold coconut, chocolate, mild bourbon. Equal parts coconut, chocolate, and a steady amount of barrel to balance. Soft spice. A light warming after the swallow. They got the dessert down pat!! Love it!!

Canned 11/14/23, drunk 7/25/25.
Clear, dark, garnet-mahogany tints. Small head, no retention.
Vanilla and chocolate with cherry and cake batter. Yeah, the cake is not a real flavor, but it smells like real cake. Light coconut and tons of milk chocolate. Not a ton of barrel, but it smells barrel-aged in that it's not sugary. Not boozey on the nose...
Coconut, cherry, vanilla, rich, deep chocolate and spicy bourbon with coconut galore and gooey samoa cookies. Choco-cherry and spice lingering. Rich, thick, slightly syrupy texture with good sweetness but enough to balance. Some alcohol strength on the finish, not hot, but certainly there at this size. Lingering creamy-vanilla and rich cake with marshmallow goo.

(Can) Murky brownish orange colour with big frothy tan head. Fruity nose with pineapple, mango and vanilla. Fruity, sweet, slightly tart taste with notes of pineapple, mango, cherries and vanilla. No bitterness. More than medium body, sweet. Has nothing to do with anything "Berliner style". Sweet and artificial, but actually really tasty and refreshing. Nice one (but don't insult the Berliners).

(Can) Cloudy golden yellow colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity nose with notes of pineapple, mango, honey, orange blossom and sponge cake. Fruity, hoppy taste with pineapple, mango, honey, resin, orange blossom, white bread and a balanced herbal/resiny bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Possibly a bit sharp, but hoppy, juicy and tasty. Very nice.

Dark brown. Artificial nose, nuts and chocolate on that, but really not giving the good vibes with all that artificiality. On the palate, some coconut, a bit of nuttiness, bitter chocolate, light alcohol. Good complexity, the artificiality isn't as pronounced on the palate, and that lets the balance of the elements come together well.

355mL can, pours a deep dark brown / black with a small tan head. Aroma is pretty artificial, with plenty of caramel, lots of chocolate coconut nut bar, and miscellaneous sugars. Flavour is like an artificial Nanaimo bar with plenty of coconut. The flavour is definitely better than the aroma. Artificial? Definitely. But it’s actually fairly tasty.
