Sampled on draft this mead poured a dark red color with a medium sized foamy pink-white head that faded quickly and left a bit of lacing. The aroma was strong sweet cherry Lifesaver. The flavor was sweet black cherry and cherry Lifesaver. Long finish. Moderately full bodied.

Clear yellow golden pale. Smells like wine, good wine. Pretty good sweet taste up front too! Friendly sweet somewhat waxy taste. Like those wax slightly sweet teeth/lips candy thangs you used to buy as a kid. Warming sensations roll in. Smooth, a little boozy in the middle, thicker viscous fun thing manifests itself towards the end. Easy drinkin fun experience, not bad!

Sampled on draft at Couch Brewing this mead poured a dark plum color with a medium sized soapy pink head that faded quickly and left no lacing. The aroma was tannin, black grapes and a bit of must. The flavor was very sweet with plum, black grapes and tannin. Long finish. Moderately full bodied and smooth.

Clear pale and flat. Rather fermented out nose. Sweet on the uptake fer sure. Warming sensations, not bad, friendly and numbing at the same time. Rather strong in the middle. Good hit to the palate. Smooth and easy and it never lets ypou forget you are drinking something with alky in it. Not sure about the saison effects except that it seems to have a rather mild farmy tang in the background, probably my imagination. Unique and good, must try.
