Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Spicy with a bold Earl Grey influence. Some malts, herbal notes, lots of bergamot. Moderate to medium sweet with a mild bitterness. Body is medium. Pleasant Earl Grey Tripel.

Hazy orange colour with thin head. Aroma and flavour definitely have plenty of Earl Grey notes with the citrus of Bergamot. Rounded bitterness in the finish.

0.33 l bottle from 'Speciaalbierpakket.nl', bottled in August 2018. Clear very dark ruby to black with a thin, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty and a bit fruity aroma of caramel, chocolate, toasted nuts and some dark fruits. Quite sweet, malty, moderately roasty and slightly fruity taste of caramel, chocolate, cocoa, toasted nuts and some dark fruits, followed by a long, rather roasty-bitter, gently boozy finish. Medium to full body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft to average. Weird stuff, pretty unusual for a Doppelbock, way too heavy on the chocolate flavours.

ABV: 5.0%. Murky medium yellow colour with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, wheat, sweet malt, floral. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, wheat - yeast, sweet malt, grain, herbs, floral. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20190928]

Bottle. Hazy golden color with with white head. Aromila is grainy, worty, white sugar, straw, phenolic. Taste is the same. Silky mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Sticky sweet and not for me.

Cloudy blond beer, big creamy white head, stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: very malty, raw grains, hay, cow fodder. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: bitter, spicy, coriander, yeast. Aftertaste: very malty, grains, hay, cow fodder, little sourish.

Bbf’19, Helder gouden shitload aan koolzuur, Zacht, licht moutig, citrus, dun, maar smaken zij niet geheel slecht.

Bottle shared thanks to sjogro. Murky pale straw with white head. CO2, coriander, cardboard, fizzy mineral water, dead yeast and dull malts. Under medium sweet and bitter. Medium bodied, lots of carbonation.
