Aroma of light malts, fruits, orange, yeast, spicy notes, some sugar. Flavour is medium sweet with a light bitter finish. Too bad about the sugary sweetness, it’s too much for my taste.

Aroma of light malt, fruits, orange, yeast, spicy notes. Flavour is moderate sweet with a light bitter finish. Fairly pleasant Blond, not the most refined.

Bottle from a supermarket in Dalfsen. Aroma is darkish malt, caramel, spices, cinnamon, touch of nutmeg, candy sugar, with a hint of chocolate. Flavour is sweet and light bitter. Body is above medium. Lacks the complexity of a good Quad but this is not bad at all, has some smoothness, decent aroma.

Bottle from a supermarket in Dalfsen. Aroma is malt, caramel, dried fruits, yeast, and raisins with a touch of candy sugar, which I generally don’t like in my beer but found harmless here. Flavour is fairly sweet with a decent light to moderate bitterness in the finish. Body is medium. Not a bad drinkable Dubbel, I’ve had way worse in this style.

Bottle from a supermarket in Dalfsen. Aroma is malt, some bread, lightly fruity, with some yeasty notes. Moderate sweet flavour with a fairly decent moderate to medium bitterness. Body is medium. Not much of an American Pale Ale, not hoppy enough and only lightly fruity. Certainly drinkable, but flawed.

Gedronken bij Harrie. Geel tot oranje-achtig bier met een volle witte schuimkraag. Aroma is moutig en gistachtig. Smaak is bitterzoet, gistachtig en hoppig. Aangename smaak, jammer dat de smaak snel wegtrekt.
