Draft half-pint at the Brewpub on 9th August 2025. Light golden pour, clean and bright, on top a neat white head. Subtle blend of pale malt and weak hops, not too interesting to be honest.

Draft half-pint at the brewpub on 9th August 2025. Light golden body, clean and clear, on top a white crown. Subtle hop bitterness tempered with the New Zealand wine/grape like Nelson hops. Earthy overall feel.

Draft half a pint at the brewpub on 9th August 2025. Clean and clear amber pour, off-white crown on top. Caramel front to the aroma and semi-sweet taste, I liked it. Light hop content, more malty in nature.

Draft, half a pint at the brewpub on Saturday 9th August 2025. Looked and tasted like a Newcastle Brown, it's obviously their take on this iconic English Brown Ale. They've done a decent job to be honest. Pours a bit too cold for me, but as it warmed I enjoyed it more and more.

16 oz willebecher nitro draft at Salty Bear Brewing Co. in Costa Mesa, California. The pour is brown, a touch lighter than a standard stout with a solid lasting one inch egg white head. The aroma is sweetish milk chocolate malt, some earth and a bit of leaf. The taste is dry mineral, patent malt, dry chocolate without the sweetness of the nose and a bit of the earth to the back with more mineral. The palate is medium bodied, smooth NItro mouth feel and the dry mineral finish. Easy drinking stout.
