Tap at Philosoph, Vienna. May 2025. Pours murky amber with beige foam. Aroma & taste: malt, caramel, vegetables, earthy. Light to moderate sweet with lighter bitterness. Medium body, soft carbonation. Odd one.

Taster from tap at Beer Culture Days, Vienna. Black color, small tan head. smells roasty, earthy, bit soapy, very light off notes. medium body, soft carbonation. tastes roasty, earthy, bit old hoppy, tobacco, nutty, hints of off notes (washcloth). finishes lightly roasty bitter with notes of earthy, roasty and tobacco notes. First decent beer I had from this brewery. Also has some off notes, but rather drinkable

Taster from tap at Beer Culture Days, Vienna. Straw yellow murky color, small white head. smells bit citric, quite a few off notes, bit herbal. Don't like the smell. medium body, soft carbonation. tastes grainy, earthy, peppery, tobacco, light veggies, bit herbal. finishes light to medium bitter with notes of grainy, tobacco and herbal notes. Taste is better then the smell, not a great beer though

0,33l bottle at home bought at Del Fabro Kolarik, Ybbs/Donau. BB 14.06.2025. yellow hazy color, small white head. smells grassy, washcloth, bit light struck, earthy, grainy. average smell. medium body, soft carbonation. tastes grainy, veggies, chlorophyl, peppery, earthy, tobacco. finishes lightly bitter with veggies, pepper and earthy notes. not good, beer has some issues, rather weird.

Mein letztes Mitbringsel vom CBF 2024. Ein abstruses 🤣 Bier, das ich schwer einordnen kann. So hat es Noten von Sauerbieren, aber auch klassische Aromen vom Hellen 🍺. Es ist durchaus süffig, aber der malzig-hopfige Körper passt nicht so recht zum sauren Abgang. Dies ist wohl auch das einzige Bier bislang, dessen Etikett mit dem Kuhskelett🐄🦴 mich eher vom Trinken abhielt, als mich dazu zu animieren.

Bei diesem NEIPA habe ich das Gefühl, dass man zwar auf dem richtigen Weg 🛣️ ist, aber noch einen weiten Weg hat. So hat es nette grasige Hopfennoten 🌱 und eine ausgewogene Säure, aber das Gesamtbild ist mir noch etwas zu wirr.

Dieses bernsteinfarbene Bier gefiel mir von dieser Brauerei am besten. Der malzige Körper 🥞 ist nicht zu schwer und bleibt doch vollmundig. Der Hopfen arbeitet als dezente Würze.

Dieses Bier wird als rotes Vollbier beworben...was auch immer das sein soll. Geschmacklich gleicht es einem Amber Ale mit den malzsüßen Aromen. Im Abgang ein bisschen Hopfen, aber sonst eher Mittelklasse.

Ein Mitbringsel vom CBF 🛍️, das aufgrund fehlenden MHD gleich am nächsten Tag verkostet wird. Die Flasche mit dem freaky Skelett 💀auf dem Etikett wirkt wie die ganze Brauerei eher düster und makaber. Das Bier wird als Amber IPA verkauft und ist tatsächlich relativ hopfig-herb bei glänzender Bernsteinfarbe 🤎. Es mag eine volle Ladung Hopfenaromen haben, aber das Malz schafft keine wirkliche Süffigkeit.
