(bottle, shared by DerDoppelbock) Hazy amber colour with a moderate frothy, slightly off-white head. Vinous, slightly tart and yeasty, woody aroma with a fruity background, also with traces of alcoholic fusels (band aid). Sweet toast-malty, fruity (citrus, apricot) taste, full bodied; sweet, well-fitting alcohol-warming fruity and spicy finish (05.10.06).

[Another century celebrated with a Mikkeller beer - this time 6900] A deep red beer with a huge bubbly brown head. The aroma is roasted combined with notes of chocolate, and some citrusy hop notes - I find the roastyness somewhat like toasted bread. The flavor is sweet with notes of nuts, chocolate, roasted bread, something like a toasted Enlish toast bread with Nutella spread on, before the hops hits, with a citrusy note, that soon turns into a very bitter end, hop bitter that is - not from the roasted malt. I like that this Brown Ale has more body than the typical specimen, but even being a hop head - I find the bitterness in the end, not suiting the style.

Botle. Creamy off-white mostly lasting head. Brown colour. Powerfull hoppy aroma, not so much caramellic. Extremely powerfull hoppy/bitter flavor. Long finish. Oily palate. Too powerfull to create complex notes.
