Day 3 of the Mr Hop webshop, Vernray Netherlands. Consumed at home Wednesday 3rd December 2025 in the company of Jude. We have Pasta with Gorgonzola and Walnuts later. Listening to Just Mustard - We Were Just Here. Pours murky dirty orange with a white head that swiftly subsided. Ferociously hoppy, thick in the mouth, a little bit fierce, it's a bit tropical but wow quite in yer face. I quite like this but it seems quite removed from a triple, difficult to believe that's the base beer before the crazy dry hopping. Score 6.8

Candied ginger, coconut flakes, vanilla, white pepper, pineapple. Sweetish pineapple, sourish lime, bitter spicy ginger. Peppery hops. Fizzy carbonation. I like ginger, but I’m still not sure whether it belongs in beer or not. This one certainly doesn’t support that idea.

Can at home, reddish beer, small head. Aroma is tart, berries, sweet, fruit. Taste is the same, berries, fruit, tart, dry aftertaste, nice one.

Little cloudy beige blond beer, small creamy head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: weird, all fake vanilla, sugary impression, weird, hint of diacetyl, sugary impression, spicy. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet sugary start, lots of fake vanilla, bitter touch, a bit minty, sugary, weird. Aftertaste: more fake vanilla, bitter touch, very weird beer, don’t like it.

From tap at Bierfestival Leeuwarden 2025. Firm roast and bitterness with piney/citrussy hop, chocolate, pine, orange, touch of grapefruit. Nicely bitter finish, stiff unit!
