Bottle from Meibier. Aroma is a little dusty with grain, hay, yeasty notes, touch of minerals. Lightly caramel. Flavour is light sweet and bitter. Medium body. Drinkable, but there's something missing.

Bottle from Meibier. Aroma is grainy malt with straw and some noble hops in the finish. Light sweet and bitter flavour, medium body. Pretty standard but decent Helles.

Bottle. Slightly cloudy dark orange with an ok white head. Aroma of grains, malts and a little bit of yeast. Taste of caramel, grains, malts, yeast and metal. A rather strong bitterness. Medium carbonation. Well it’s really not that good.

Bottle. Clear dark gold with an ok but very short-lived white head. Aroma of malts, minerals and grains. Taste of malts, bread, grains, honey and metal. This is sweet, metallic and earthy. Moderate grainy bitterness. Medium carbonation. Probably not Bamberg‘s finest.

Bottle. Color: Hazy amber, off-white head. Aroma: Malty, grainy. Taste: Malty, caramel, bread, floral hop backbone. Moderate sweet, light bitterness. Medium to just under medium body, just bellw medium carbonation. Drinkable.

0,5 l bottle. Cloudy dark golden with an one finger white head in the glass. Sweet grainy with some apple on the nose. Taste starts with dry caramel, honey, increasing grain, some bitterness. Metallic hints in the middle section. Low carbonated.

0,5 l bottle from Zisch, Wildeshausen. Clear golden more than one finger white head. Nothing wrong with it. Grassy grainy aroma, some caramel. Taste is more on the grainy caramel side, hints of metallic elements. Mid bitterness, below average carbonated. Okay.

Bottle shared on the train during the Bamberg Post Christmas Jolly - January 2014. Pours clear cola brown with a creamy, light tan head. Not bad, some nice burnt caramel notes, bread, a little dirt, hints of fruit. Light bodied with average carbonation. Lightly drying finish, more toasted bread, caramel. Nice overall.
