Clear gold with a frothy head that soon disappears. Aroma a mix of metal, dust, and honey. Taste is mildly sweet up front with a long, lingering metallic bitter finish. Light bodied, not watery though. There’s a residual smooth chewiness that’s probably the highlight here. Otherwise, pretty lame.

50 cl bottle. Straight from the bottle.I was quite surprised with this one from Alt Bamber since the last ones -Zwickl and Urstoff were quite disappointing.The taste is something special resembling Gorgonzola cheese. ( The only downside - the intestinal flora is having a huge party ).

0.5 l bottle as a gift from Germany, shared @ home with my dad. Pours hazy golden with thick white head. Nose is light malts, taste is bittersweet with short finish. Light bodied, a bit too light IMO, with average carbo. Mediocre.

0.5 l bottle as a gift from Germany, shared @ home with my dad. Pours deep brown with thick beigeh head. Nose is mainly roasted malts and coffee. Taste is the same and quite good as such. If it wasn't some slight sour and metallic notes to it, it could be even better. Still a decent example of the style.

Gemischtporige, mäßig stabile Schaumkrone, in der Nase kernig-malzig und etwas derber kräutriger Hopfen, im Geschmack zunächst malzig, süßlich und leicht honigartig, im Nachtrunk trockener mit präsenter Hopfenbittere. Insgesamt einfach, aber solide.

Bottle at home shared with Laura. Clear dark orange color, small white head. Aroma and flavor are malts, metallic a bit, iron-ish bitter. Don't get much more but overall quite okay.
