Draft at BRGR in Prairie Village, Kansas. This was listed simply as Casual Animal Oktoberfest. The pour is a clear golden with a smaller white head that leaves behind nice lace. The aroma is cracker, toasted malt along with some floral grass. The taste is the toasted Vienna malt, clean and crisp, with some of the floral and apple sweetness. The palate is light to medium bodied active carbonation and a clean finish. Easy drinking Oktoberfest.

Shaker pint draft at Taco Republic in Prairie Village, Kansas. The pour is a clear golden with a small white head. The aroma is sweet malt, corn, and some apple fruit. The taste is sweet malt right away, with grass, and some faint citrus, salt and finishes clean. The palate is light to medium bodied with active carbonation and the sweetish clean finish. Easy drinking.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy light yellow with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has earthy orange and musty papaya with a touch of sweet grain backing. Flavor has sweet citrus and mango with a hint of banana and sweet grains supporting.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a near clear deep brown with a light brown head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has notes of cinnamon and chicory with a bit of dark grain and roast underlying. Flavor is full of cinnamon supported by dark grains, chicory and a hint of roast.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a clear yellow gold with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has grass and hay with a touch of citrus rind and straw underlying. Flavor has straw and hay up front with growing grass and a light hint of citrus rind.

Half nonic pint draft at Casual Animal Brewing in Kansas City, Missouri. The pour is opaque black brown with a tight ¼ inch tan head. The aroma is roast, caramel malt and a pleasant grassiness. The taste is a nice soft blend of the roast, caramel malt and pine hops and the grass towards the finish. The palate is medium to light bodied, soft carbonation and roast grass finish. Nice stout - nitro option also available.

Half nonic pint draft at Casual Animal Brewing in Kansas City, Missouri. The pour is a slight haze golden orange with a 1/4 inch off white head. The aroma is grass, floral, dry fruit, cereal malt. The taste is a balance between the floral grass hops and the clean cereal malt with a touch of the dried fruit. Finish introduces a dry resin bitterness. The palate is medium bodied, soft natural carbonation and the dry resin, with mineral, finish. Nice.
