The aroma is bready toast along with a bit of grass. The taste is clean malt, bread, toast and soft cracker with a hint of caramel as it warms. The palate is medium bodied with soft carbonation and the toast, soft mineral to the finish. Really well done ESB.

16 oz pint beer engine draft at Brew Lab in Overland Park, Kansas. Desc photo. The pour is dark brown with a 1/2 inch light tan head that is tight and lasting. The aroma is nut, some yeast, and a nice toast roast. Nice nose. The taste is the malt nut, soft sweet, along with the roast and char towards the back.The palate is light to medium bodied, with soft natural carbonation; very much a fresh cask mouth feel. Nice one.

Squat Willebecher type glass draft at Brew Lab in Overland Park, Kansas. The pour is opaque brown copper with a small tan head. The aroma is nutty malt, roast and some wood. The taste is oak wood up front, the nutty malt of the nose, floral hop and a dry mineral to the finish. The palate is light to medium bodied with natural carbonation and the dry mineral finish.
