Tap. Pours deep murky chestnut, medium tan head, long lasting with good lacing. Aroma is roasty, a bit nutty, ashtray, coffee grounds. Flavor is light sweet, light plus bitter, hints of coffee but a bit stale and definitely nuanced. Medium body, creamy mouthfeel. Could use a bit more coffee and a fresher infusion process.

Tap. Pours clear reddish amber, medium beige creamy head, nice residual and lacing. Aroma is very light, malty, caramel, toffee, hints of toasted bread. Flavor is light plus sweet, very light bitter, roasty with a toasty caramel note. Medium body. Pleasant without offputting aftertaste that some Irish reds give me. A pleasing example of what is normally not my favorite style.
