Bottled. Reddish brown with a beige head. Still. Aroma is roasted, with chocolate and coffee. Sweet flavor with dried fruits and caramel. Sweet, sticky mouthfeel. One of the best hvidøls so far, but still too sweet for me. (060430)

(Bottle 33 cl) Pours completely black and opaque with a creamy, light brown head. Lightly burned malt and a whiff of fruit in the aroma. Very solid, very thick with a full body. Rich fruitiness and a nice, balancing dryness. Some malt bitterness in the finish. Quite a harmonoius porter which I much prefer over the rougher Limfjordsporter and older sibling to this brew. 100506

Bottle. Very powerful aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, salt, and seems to have a little fruitiness. Black colour, big, stable brown head. The flavour is also very powerful. Bitter chocolate, smoke, salt. Mild carbonation and nice mouthfeel. Very nice.

Bottle 0,33l. Pale golden with a pretty white head. An immediate aroma of hops and malt. Some bitterness in an unvaried aftertaste. A bit too carbonated. Quite ordinary.

To mark the salt of the earth on the first of May I chose a black porter topped with a delicate brownish foam leaving pretty lacings on the glass. Smoky mouthfeel containing coffee, anise and chocolate flavours. Smooth. Malty flatness to finish a decent Danish brew.

Fine chocolaty roast aroma. Black, creamy and lacing amber brown head. Roasted grain, coffeeground, preserved oranges, minerally notes. Mellow mouthfeel, medium body, sticks to the tongue. Espresso finish.
