(Bottle 33 cl) Unfiltered version. Completely black and opaque with a thick, creamy, light brown head. Malty, lightly burned aroma. Extremely thick and full-bodied, pours almost like tar. Extremely burned malt with some accents of licorice. Bitter, burned finish. Rather raw and unrefined. 260406

Copper-colored, clear, some aroma of tar as well as malt and hops. Great mouthfeel. Quite bitter and somewhat sweet, and with a slight CO2-bite. Perhaps a hint of dust and biscuits in the aroma. I’ve only tasted their Limfjordsporter before, and was perhaps expecting something similar from this beer. On the other hand, it is still a decent beer.

Bottle. OK appearence, nice head, yellow colour. Thin aroma. Very watery palate and flavor.

Bottled. Golden with a medim white head leaving nice lacings. Aroma is mostly hops and hay. Medium to thin body with a flavor of malt and hops and some alcohol. Bitter finish. (060409)

330 ml bottle, courtesy of Cardinal, Stavanger. Also available in Vinmonopolet stores. Amber coloured premium lager. Decent lasting head, slightly off-white. Moderate aroma, some hops with faint flowery and honey notes. Clean flavour with a decent maltiness and acceptable hops, hints of caramel, soft mouthfeel. And its organic! Not too bad, as far as Danish lagers go.

Bottle. Creamy light brown excellent fully lasting head. Week but delicate aroma. Fantastic taste, with good coffeenotes. Long finish and nice palate, very good beer.

Dark golden with a good white head. Very clean malt aroma. Malt flavour with some sharp, hoppy bitterness, but it hardly sticks out from other strong lagers. Too much carbonation.

Black with a light brown head. Rich, roast malt aroma with hints of licorice and vanilla. Full roast malt flavour, a notch too sweet for my taste, but reasonably dry. Full bodied and warming.

(Bottle 33 cl) Pours a hazy, dark amber with a creamy, off-white head. Aroma of caramel and yeast. Medium body with some roasted malt and caramel and accents of yeast. Appears very Belgian at first, but gradually the bitterness is building up on your palate to end rather hoppy and dry. But definitely a rather successful experiment. 150306
