Tap at BarHop. Hazy golden with white head. Lime, weedy hops, grapefruit zest, orange oil, quite grassy. There’s some light malts but quite in the background. Under medium sweet and medium bitter. Almost medium bodied.

Dark coffee colored brown with some red hues. Whoa. Intense alcohol and turpentine aroma. Taste is the same. Some creamy flavors with light coffee finish. Dense mouthfeel but overall not great

Pours a clean golden-amber colour with a soft off-white head, decent retention and creamy streaky lace. Citrus-grass aromas of hops with tropical fruits blending everything. Beautiful dry bitter mouthfeel. Nice balance of grapefruit zest, grass and other fruits. The dryness gets stronger as it goes. This is a superb IPA.

A deep dark reddish brown stout with a thick frothy brown head. In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate malt with cherry blossoms, light lactic notes, alcohol warmth, very nice. In mouth, a bitter herbal chocolate with grassy hops, light mineral notes, lactic acid notes, tart cherry, cough syrup, alcohol warmth, interesting but reminds me too much of Benylin. Bottle at OttBottShare April 2016.

Sampled at Brother’s Beer Bistro. Dark brown colour with a beige head and light lacing. Crazy rum barrel aromas with banana notes, caramel and fruits. Not as present in the taste, or better balanced I should say. The stout part comes out in the finish. Hints of wood in the aftertaste. Tart/wood mouthfeel. Interesting rum barrelled stout for fans of rum. Thankfully, it was a 6oz. sample, as would of been too much to have a full pint. Also, was with nitro, which was a nice added touch.

(On tap @ Bar Hop, Jan 11 2016) Pours clear pale gold with a dense white head and lace. Aroma of lightly sweet golden malt with a bit of candy sugar, dried herbs, orange, slight grain, alcohol touches, perfume and fruity notes. Palate is med sweet pale malts, orange peels, grassy herbal hops, touch medicinal, slightly bitter noble hop and grainy malt. Slight alcohol dryness. Could be more crisp. Medium bodied with soft carb. Nice enough, maybe not my favourite style but it’s pretty well done.
