Keg at Brothers Beer Bistro, Ottawa. Black, small beige head. Huge aroma of pears, vanilla and licorice. Mid dry with medium body and near crisp, firm mouthfeel. Pears, tea, vanilla and licorice. Lightly grainy with peppery warming bitter finish. Elegant and drinkable, yet complex. Next level!

A deep dark stout with a thin brown head. In aroma, sweet chocolate malt with light grassy herbaceous hops, light mineral notes, OK. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity chocolate malt with light grassy hops, light licorice, burned Caramel, light coffee grind, musty character, pleasant. On tap at Brother’s Beer Bistro.

Bouteille 500ml, gracieuseté de msjpearson, Thanks Mike! Couleur noire opaque, mousse moka onctueuse laissant une belle dentelle. Arôme de Bourbon, noix, chocolat, caramel. Goût de Bourbon, malt torréfié, chocolat noir, boisé, légère amertume. Carbonatation faible, corps moyen-dense.

Bottle - Perfumy Brett yeast notes. Cloudy gold with a decent white. Aromatic transfers to the taste. Light funk and Brett.
