(On tap @ barVolo, Jan 17 2016) Pours medium orange with s small white head and lots of lace. Aroma is loaded with grapefruit peel and flesh, and lots of resinous hops, some sweet caramel and overripe fruit, soft bready notes. On the palate, it is sticky and resinous with citrus oils, sweet tropical fruit and caramel at the core, a little bit of bread and lots of bitterness. Finish is dry, bitter and pithy with no real alcohol. Medium bodied, average carbonation. Quite a good DIPA, middle of the road for fruitiness but not overly malty, nice resin grip, invites further drinking.

(On tap @ Folly Brewpub, Toronto, Jan 13 2016) Pours clear medium amber with a big white head and lots of lace. Aroma is sweet caramel, papaya, citrus, mango. Palate is caramel driven to an extent, orange zest, tropical, bit of papaya, becomes less sweet towards the finish. Moderately high bitterness in the aftertaste. Medium full mouthfeel with average carb. On the more caramel and bitter side for IPAs, but fruit notes are still there from the hops. Drinks pretty well.

Tasting at Matt’s
Hazy light amber color with small head. It’s on the dry side but not weak, with gentle malts, very light biscuit, balanced bitterness, and a bit of citrus; it may have very tiny traces of diacetyl.
Nice.

Hazy blond color. A bit spicy, but also soapy and with some vegetables; dry and on the weak side.
Simple beer.

Finally made it here!! Clear gold. Minimal head. Golden hay nose, with a little grapefruit and yeast. Clean heavy on the yeast taste, mildly sweet, hay malt, citrus and bitter finish. Solid.

Bouteille 650ml, gracieuseté de msjpearson, Thanks Mike! Couleur dorée translucide, mousse blanche tenace laissant une belle dentelle. Arôme de levure, malt, houblon fruité, agrumes, herbacé, céréales, alcool. Goût de pamplemousse, levure, malt, alcool un peu trop présent (pourtant seulement 6,2%), belle amertume. Carbonatation élevée, corps moyen.

A hazed golden ale with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with smooth Brett, light lactic notes, refreshing. In mouth, a superb tart apples with loads of citrusy floral hops, grapefruit pulp, light buttery notes, grapeskin notes, very nice. Cask Days 2015.
