Bottle. Clear deep golden color with creamy white head. Aroma is cereals, malty, on the sweeter side but quite nice. Taste is the same, nice sweet cereals, popcorn. Oily mouthfeel, very soft carbonation. Quite nice!

Klare rötliche Farbe mit beiger Schaumkrone. Malziger, schwach fruchtiger Geruch. Geschmacklich malzig, leicht fruchtig, Karamell. Mittlere Süße mit leichter Bitterkeit, mittlerer Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.

Eigentlich nur wegen diesem Bier habe ich eine 9er-Testbox im Supermarkt gekauft. Das Bier ist neu neben dem wohlbekannten Weitra Hell und Hadmar der Brauerei, die inzwischen zur Zwetler Brauerei gehört). Es ist ein durchaus gelungenes Dunkles, das nicht so super-kreativ ist, aber nicht süß ist und angenehme herbe Aromen zu bieten hat. Es kommt natürlich nicht an dei Verspieltheit mancher Craft-Brauer heran, aber aromentechnisch ist es voll ok.

33cl bottle. A clear reddish brown beer with a beige head. Aroma of dark malt, some liquorice, melasse. Taste of melasse, dark malt, some caramel, liquorice.

On tap @Rathsuskeller in Melk-Austria. Clear and bright golden color with a. Adhesive white foam. Nose: honey, seeet malty. Mouth: proper classic and well-brewed Helles, crackers, sweet hints of malts, honey, pleasant bitterness.

Bottle. Deep golden color. Cake dough and a hint of soap in the aroma. malty sweet, grassy, slightly soapy flavor. Soft perfumed aftertaste with a sticky mouthfeel.

Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Starts mild, malty, modest dry. Light wheaty hints. Finish could be more balanced. A bit boring.
