12/03 0.5 l bottle back from trip to Graz. It poured darker golden body with small head that went down fast. Fine caramel and fruity aroma, a bit dusty. Similar fruity and biscuity malt flavor, simple but pleasant. Medium body, decent sweetish, pleasant finish. Strange herbal bitterness shows up at the very end. Cute little austrian lager, nothing spectacular though.

Würziger Antrunk auf Hopfenbasis, weich. Im Mittelteil wirken die Aromen etwas verwaschen und ungünstig ineinander verwoben, die Würzigkeit hat abgenommen, das Bier ist etwas wässrig geworden. Zum Ende hin wird das Bier noch weniger attraktiv, die Würzigkeit ist deutlichster Ton, wirkt aber verwässert. Desweiteren ist der Hopfen frisch aber nur minimalistisch vertreten. Kurzer Nachgeschmack.

Bottle from somewhere in Graz. Poured a full amber body with a white head. Nice sweet malty nose, some bubblegum. Grainy malty taste, somewhat fruity, very light herbal hopiness. Not a bad lager indeed, though I’m not sure about its style.

Bottle in Salzburg, Austria. A little more orangey than your average lager. Soft and dry. Malty mid with subtle buttery tones. Slughtly bitter finish.

erstmals 2010 bewusst getrunken und erst jetzt wieder. EIn Bier mit Geschichte und Geschmack - auch wenn es inzwischen von einer industriellen Brauerei kommt. EIn uriges, solides Helles, das nichts übertreibt. Es hat einen angenehm getreidigen Geschmack das eine schöne Balance zwischen Hopfen und Malz, so wie es heute wieder sehr gefragt ist. Keine große Spezialität, aber ein wirklich schmackhaftes Bier.

Bottle, 5.2%. Good malty aroma. Clear amber colour. Nice stable white head. The flavour is nicely malty, slightly creamy. A little spicy hoppiness makes it a little more interesting.

Bottled(500ml). -Golden coloured, small white head, caramel honeyish nose. Sweet malty, grainy and light caramel with touch of herbs in the short bitterish finish. Boring.

07/04 0.5 l bottle courtesy of ogivlado, thanks for sharing! It poured a golden body with smaller head. Weaker, bit unpleasant aroma of eggs and grains... Flavor is also weak, thin bodied. Some pleasant things can be discerned here, like lemony hops or fine malty fruitiness. Almost no finish at all. Nothing unpleasant when you taste it, but misses so much body to be something good.

0.5l bottle shared with heavy and ogivlado, courtesy of the latter (thanks!). Poured a nice golden body with a small thick white head that went away at a medium pace. Light honeyish and grainy nose, bit hop, light chalk. Sweet manty, grainy and honeyish taste, simple but nice in a way.
