Panda at home, thanks to SHIG, 18/06/21. Black with a decent tan covering that settles to a swirl. Nose is chocolate, bitter roast, charr, spice, light herb, burnt toffee, soy sauce. Taste comprises dark chocolate, dark malts, roasted bite, coffee, touch of bourbon, spice. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a blast of alcohol. Not bad but a little unrefined.

24/6/2021. Bottle sample courtesy of SHIG, cheers! Pours close to black with a small bubbly beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, dried fruits, woody bourbon notes. Moderate sweetness and medium roasted bitterness with a slight tangy tart edge. Medium body, slick texture, gently fizzy carbonation. Enjoyed it.
