The 20th rating of this bad boy. Draft courtesyof nate2g, thanks! Dark amber color, only slightly darker than the amber ale we had along with it. Aroma is roasty. Taste is watery coffee and subtle licorice.

Draft at the Londoner courtesy of nate2g, thank you!. Clear dark amber brown color, tan head. Aroma of burnt caramel on toast. Taste is similar. Nicely hopped.

Light brown colour. Aroma has a touch of cocoa but otherwise doesn’t have much character. Bland and watery, with only a hint of cocoa for dark malt character

Light gold colour. Aroma is fairly light. Taste has moderate bitterness, light German hop character and vague pale malts. Off-dry finish.

Light amber colour. Aroma is full of caramel. Taste is similar, with lots of earthy goldingesque hops.

Pure All Malt Draught from Hawkes Bay Brewing Co.

"Pure Brewed Draught". Light amber colour. Aroma is caramel and mushroom. Light caramel taste - somewhere between Waikato and Tui, which is a poor showing for a microbrewery.

This is the ginger beer "Special Reserve Summer Ale". Pale colour. Sweet, a little bit gingery, somewhat, and with not much character.

This is the seasonal. The one I had was an "English ale". Amber ale. Aroma is slightly fruity, earthy, mushroomy, and herbal-hoppy. Earthy palate w caramel, toast and some light mushroomy character.

Rather pale. Aroma is a little bit spicy. Strong with both apple and alcohol. Somewhat sweet overall but the touch of spice is welcome.
