Papsoes mystery blindtasting beer #11. Pours hazy yellow to orange and with a dense chalk white head. Light acidic and mild citrus aroma, seems infected. Flavour is mild caramel malt with a light acidic note. Yeasty and light hops note. Light yeasty finish.

Papsoes mystery blindtasting beer #6. Pours hazy brown with an orange hue and a dense, lasting and tan head. Solid spiced aroma. Flavour is smooth caramel malty with a solid yet nicely complimenting spice flavour. Ends with a light acidic spice flavour.

Cloudy amber with a big off-white head. Excellent fruity aroma. Peach and orange dominate, along with pineapple, a little malt, and some alcohol. Sweet and malty, with plenty orange and peach. Not quite "very true to type" but a wonderful beer to sip.

(Plastic handbottle 130 cl) Courtesy of yalnikim. Pours a clear, amber golden with an off-white head. Fresh, peachy aroma hops in the nose. Medium body with notes of yeast, caramel and a little fruit. Astringent finish with lots of diacetyl. The start is promising but the end result is rather confusing. 160208

(Bottle 50 cl) Cloudy, pale golden with a white head. Classic aroma of yeast and banana. Medium body with sweet aromas of banana and cloves. Some yeast and a phenolic touch. Somewhat astringent phenols in the finish. But overall a fairly decent Hefe not that far from German examples of the style. 040208
