[33cl can at the Fat Duck, Te Anau, NZ.] An amber pour with a fast fading head; light tropical fruit aroma and; malty taste with lots of unpleasant tannins; and some stale biscuity malts to finish. Poor.

Can. Black with an inch of dense light tan head that lasts OK. Aroma is roasty with a somewhat confused citrusy hop note, some nectarines, earth. Mocha and roast with some bread set the scene upon a taste. Barely sweet. The citrus is better integrated in the taste. Roasty and bitter. Lots of presence for 6.0%. Good.

Can. Almost opaque orange with a lovely lasting dense cm of white head. Tropical fruit juice aroma with papaya, pineapple, mango & orange. That threatens to be sickly but there’s an astringency and some bitterness that combats the juice too effectively. A bit like orange juice a bit too soon after brushing your teeth
