(On tap at the Green Dragon, Hobbiton) Black with no head. Aroma of dark roast grain. Medium body with fine carbonation. Nice dark chocolate/ coffee bitterness. Some pleasant tartness at start. Dark chocolate notes. A little bitterness in finish. Very good.

[33cl can from an NZ supermarket.] A hazy amber pour with a fast fading white head; tropical aroma with lots of citrus; dry in the mouth with some melon and lime, followed by stone fruit; then a rather thin finish with some fresh lime juice. A refreshing IPA.

[On tap at the brewer's waterfront bar in Auckland.] A hazy pale amber pour with a thin white head; citrusy aroma; quite watery with a thin lemony body; and crisp finish, but lacking something.
