7/IX/24 - sampled @ BBP Wanderlust Beer Festival (Brussels), BB: n/a (2024-849) Thanks to my GBV buddies for sharing today’s beers!

Very cloudy bright red to ruby red beer, small creamy pink head, pretty stable, a little adhesive. Aroma: nice, very fruity, some yoghurt, lactic acidity, blueberry jam, blackberry jam, very pleasant, intense, nice! MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: very fruity, yoghurt, good acidity, blackberries and raspberries, very dry, citric acid and some lactic acid. Aftertaste: very dry, nice, clean acidity very fruity, raspberries, soft bitterness.

Sample (Tornade V4.2, thanks fonefan!). Amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is floral, some wooden and mild herbal tones. Flavour is floral, fruity, some herbal, mild wooden and a bit earthy tones. Smooth sweet malty and herbal tones in the aftertaste.

Sample (Mauka V2, thanks fonefan!). Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is floral, some mild wooden, non-sweet nectar and some quite fresh sprucelike tones. Flavour is floral, fruity, toffeeish and some sprucelike tones with mild bitterness. A bit more bitterness and this would be top notch.

Bière bue à la maison, canette de 44 cl dénichée chez Bombance à Lille. Robe claire rappelant celle d'une pils, mais avec une belle amertume et une touche d'exotisme qui surprend agréablement. Un style qui se démarque des autres IPA. Habituellement, je ne suis pas fan du malt pils, mais ici, il est bien masqué par une présence marquée de houblons. Originale et pleine de caractère, cette bière m'a vraiment séduite !

Can. Hazy golden. Quite some cucumber, grassy and zesty hops, crisp malts. Under medium sweet and bitter. Almost medium bodied. Nice.

Bière trouvée chez Bombance à Lille. poivre perceptible, il apporte une saveur caractéristique mais pas de piquant. Très réussi et pas écoeurant .

Roasty, malty, chocolate

Petite bière acidulée, mais pas trop non plus, ça reste supportable pour quelqu'un comme moi qui n'aime pas les sour. Sans grand intérêt néanmoins.
