Brasserie Moulins d'Ascq
Microbrewery in Villeneuve-d'Ascq, Hauts-de-France, France 🇫🇷
Established in 1999
It takes an average of five weeks to make our beers. They are neither pasteurized nor filtered in order to best preserve their aromas. Their fine bubbles are natural thanks to a refermentation in the bottle. These are beers brewed with respect for tradition, high fermentation and Belgian inspiration.

Bottle with cork 0,75ltr: Bought it at an Frence Hypermarche named Auchan, Villenueve d’Ascq near a venue for Euro 2016 football(soccer). An hazy orange coloured brew with an well balanced sweet Duvel-like bitternesh, just how a good Tripel must be.

330ml bottle from a Christmas Gift set from the In-laws. Pours pitch black, unclear with a perfectly sized large white head. Aroma of pine, dark malt, ash. Flavour profile continues in a similar fashion, great flavoursome depth, prominent pine, dusty dark malt, looks great in the glass too. Very satisfying Black IPA.

750ml bottle at THT Den Haag, October 2024. Poured a slightly hazy yellow golden colour with a big bubbly white head. The aroma is grainy malt, light citrus. The flavour is light bitter and sweet, with a light, crisp, slightly watery, lemon citrus, light hop bitter palate. Light bodied with lively carbonation.
