Bottle on the 1401 TGV from Lille to Strasbourg, picked up from The Ministry Of Beer Lille, 04/10/2025.
black with a good sized khaki covering that thins to a swirl.
Nose is rich roast, cocoa powder, pine needle, raisins, dried fruit esters, light charr.
Taste comprises liquorice, charr, roasted bite, cola cube, tropical fruit back notes.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with earthy come dusty hop bitterness.
Could have been a cracker but the light soapy notes detract from it a little. They did wear off as a I continued to drink so score upped from 7.3 to 7.4

Bottle from Biocoop. Clear golden. Smells and tastes like wort. Soft hops, blueberries, lemon, very bready. Light sour geainy finish. Medium sweet, light butter and sour. Medium bodied. There seems to be a buge fermentation issue here, not good.
