Description
In 2017 we opened doors to our brewery and proeflokaal located in Amsterdam Oost. Our dream was to bring back and celebrating historic Dutch craft beers and the people who brewed them. Since then we've seen this dream come to a reality with the launch of our historic Van Vollenhoven series, reviving recipes made in the Netherlands at the Brewery De Gekroonde Valk from 1733 to 1945 and with our modern brews that draw inspiration from the old brewery employee's
In 2021 werd de brouwerij verplaatst naar een grotere locatie. Het proeflokaal blijft op dezelfde locatie.

(Draught at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 15 Aug 2025) Pale amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, hoppy nose with citrus, orange peel and apricots. Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of orange peel, citrus, apricots, herbs, crisp-bread and a balanced citric bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Fresh and well balanced. Nice one.

Can on the heated terrace outside the Henry VIII Pub in Valkenburg on 5th November 2025. Hazy little number, white crust on top. Citrus fruit aroma and taste, sadly not as exciting as I'd hoped. It was fine, just not worth the cost I paid.
