Keg at the brewery taproom. Pours clear, rich gold with a creamy, off-white head. Heavy bready malts in the nose, some white grape, caramel. Medium to big sweet flavor with sugary bready malts, more caramel, minimal bitterness. Medium to full bodied with average carbonation. Sticky and warming on the finish, with some lightly tangy berries, caramel and toffee, lots of sweet bread. Pretty solid for the style.

Keg at the brewery taproom. Pours clear, deep brown with a creamy khaki head. Good smoked dark malts in the nose, burnt toast, dark fruits. Medium sweet flavor with further smoked malts, chocolate, dark berries, modest earthy bitterness. Medium bodied, moderately creamy, with fine to average carbonation. Well balanced on the finish, with further cocoa, smoked dark malts, light ash, a little bacon, dark fruits. Great smoked porter. Very well balanced and highly drinkable.

Keg at the brewery taproom. Pours clear, rich gold with a dense, lasting off-white head. Well toasted malts in the nose, with accents of orange rind, toffee, faint cocoa. Medium sweet flavor with pleasant coffee notes, some earthy bitterness, more orange, toasty bread, grain. Medium bodied with average carbonation. assertive but nicely balanced on the finish, more cocoa, coffee, orange, grassy bitterness, wholegrain toast. Solid.

Keg at the brewery taproom. Pours totally clear with a thick, creamy white head. The nose has grain, dirty wheat, hay, lemon peel. Light sweet flavor with grassy bitterness, a little perfume, hay, minerals, husky grains. Light bodied with average carbonation. Dry finish, more grass, grains, earth, minerals. So so.

Light-medium sweet flavor with restrained smoke, toasted cereal, dried ham, grain, minerals. Light bodied with average carbonation. Nicely balanced finish, pretty dry, with mild bready malts, more toasty cereal, smoke, dry meat, some leaves. Nice and drinkable.

Keg at the brewery taproom. Pours clear gold with a mild, creamy head, some effervescence. Mild lactic twang in the aroma, hints of lemon. Light sweet flavor with pretty clean acidity, mild tart berries, further lactic bite. Light bodied with spritzy carbonation. Clean, quick and dry on the finish, with more lemon, tangy berries, a slight metallic edge. Quite nice overall.

Light to medium sweet flavor with mild grain husk, hay, more citrusy hops. Light bodied with average carbonation. Clean finish, more citrus, lemon and tangerine, some melon, pale bread, mellow bitterness, some biscuits. Outstanding.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines. Cotteridge, Birmingham, consumed at home Friday 20th November 2015 A very solid pale ale, easy drinking, a buzzy curly citrus, good session beer this. Gold with a sticky white head, touch hazy. Good refreshing crisp pale ale, like it. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov15 3.5

Keg at the Union Tavern - London. Pours mostly clear gold with a thick, creamy off-white head. Grainy and lightly doughy bread in the nose, some golden raisins. Light to medium sweet flavor with doughy bread, some grassy and leafy bitterness. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Sweet finish with more grains, dough, grass, leaves, lemon rind, hints of tangerine. Not bad overall.

Bottled@AIH53 (from AbM). Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, citrusy, mild bready and some slight resiny and wooden notes to it. Flavour is floral, wooden, some herbal and mild earthy and resiny notes. Mild nice bitterness in the finish.
