12oz cans pour a light haze over an orange body, rocky white head. Fresh cut orange, straw, some tangerine, grass, a little wheat. Flavor is citrus, orange and grapefruit now, grass, straw. Easy drinker. Dry with just a little bitterness. Perfectly fine.

50cl silver waxed bottle. Bought and consumed this in June of 2026. I was told this was the last bottle available. Pours an oily, leggy, near opaque black with a ring of red head that faded fast. Out of the bottle, there is a huge sherry and wood note, then an ode to malt. Licorice and thick roast. Plenty of barrel. Flavor has cocoa and licorice and caramel, big malt though. Barrel sings. Its oxidized but not washed out. Long and syrupy finish. Signs that its not adjuncts. Nice. Drink now.

12oz cam pours a clear gold with some ringing white head. Nose has plenty of hop, feels Mosaic, grassy, straw, dried herbs, light grist. Malt in the mouth is a lovely honey, Mosaic shines, some light stone fruits here. Off dry but a little bite which helps.

12oz can pours a translucent black, creamy and clumpy khaki head.  Nose has cocoa powder and rootbeer, malt and molasses, some char.  Flavor has a nice malt backbone that gives structure without a load of extra sweetness, cocoa feels dialed back here too with some burnt toast and even black pepper.  Medium full bodied, off dry.  8 6.5 7 6 6.5

12oz can pours a burnt orange with just a ring of white head.  Nose is fine, soggy bread, grist, heirloom corn.  Flavor is better because its more clear, buttery dough, brioche, cracked corn, some orange.  Medium bodied.  Whelming.  Its fine.  5 5.5 6 6 5.5

12oz can pours pulp. Thick with some thick white head. Nice dank nose, punchy over ripe tropicals, big citrus zest, wet grass. Flavors all follow, wet grass and green onion, fresh tropicals. Punchy. Medium bodied, off dry.

On Tap at the ChurckKey in Washington D.C. This beer has a monstrously large and engaging nose, featuring rum, licorice, dark berries and spices (nutmeg, rosemary). That ebullient beginning settles down in the taste profile which leads with rum sweetness, lavender, rosemary and malt. Quite tasty but doesn’t quite live up to the olfactory advertising.
