Was this supposed to be clear? Because it ain't. Murky sunset orange, thick white head. Nose as some pine and soap, flabby malt though, paper. Wet paper and soap and dried herbs in the mouth. Feels like crystal malt but maybe I'm just over this after 2 sips. Bitter and fuller bodied than it should be.

32oz crowler pours a root beer brown, no head. Nose has booze, malt, caramel, cola. Sticky in the mouth, caramel, booze, cream soda. Full bodied and a touch hot. Seems muddled.

Crowler. Poured a cola color with a medium sized tan head. Aroma was big chocolate, vanilla, woody oak. Huge sweet bourbon. Very smooth. For the ABV, this is about perfect. I really liked this one. At the December DC Ratebeer tasting.

From a crowler. Pours an opaque cola with a tan head. Aromas are chocolate and barrel. Flavors are sweet with a smooth finish.

16oz can pours out amber brown color topped with a small head. Nose is nice sweet caramel malts some vanilla bourbon barrel. Taste is more of the nice bourbon barrel vanilla sweet rich malts wow.
