10 oz draft at Frisco in a goblet. Hazy dark brownish orange with off-white head. Aromas of big Jalapeño pepper skins, light sweet malt and citrus. Tastes of jalapeño pepper skin and flesh with moderate heat, citrus, caramel, a little candied fruit and sweet malt. Medium body with a dry and slightly warm finish.

Sample at GABF 10/04/2014, thanks to my BIL for assistance with note-taking. Brownish-black color with a medium tan head that diminishes gradually. Small patches of lace. Bourbon, malt and chocolate in the nose. Full-bodied with flavors of oaky bourbon, vanilla, malt and chocolate. The finish is moderately boozy with a bourbon and malt aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Draft at the source. Opaque black color, thick beige head with good retention and solid lacing. Aroma of coconut dipped in coffee. Flavor of a very tasty liquid Mounds bar.

Draft at the source. Clear deep brown color, tan head. Aroma of cocoa and coffee grounds. Taste is burnt coffee, huge roast. Nice.
