A decent red ale, some nice bitter and herbal hops, malt sweetness and quite a balanced bittersweet finish. Nice.

Bottle drunk at home after Munich High End while debating to sell my house for a pair of Børreson M6s. But probably this won't work as then I'd have nowhere to listen to them. The brew is easier to deal with though as it doesn't cost half a million, not even half a ten. Slightly hazy red, small head, fruity citrus caramel nose. Flavor is quite interesting, sweet but with almost no cara-red astringency, very nice piney-candy-tropical flavor in the mid palate. Smooth IPA strength bitterness at the end. Quite tasty!

Bottle. Very interesting stuff, but unfortunately the hops has been lost a bit in the process - this is more of a BA porter at this point. Barrel is showcased beautifully though, loads of rum and wood.

On tap at Higgins. Lightly hazy darkest brown, moderate head, nice nose with lots of roasted grain and spicy hops. Really full flavor for a session, great big taste with malt and roasty goodness, lightly dank citrusy hop flavors, excellent medley and good balance of bitterness. One of the best under 5% beers, extra point for that!

On tap at Higgins Ale Works Friday 5th May 2023 in the company of Jonas and Ursula. Pours a mid gold, almost clear with a mid sized white head. Probably the one beer today at Higgins that you don't really have to think about, btw that's not knocking it at all, it's a very pleasant beer, but it's simple and straightforward and a nice alternative to the others. Refreshing with a little buzz, citrus mainly but not pushy. Sit back, sip and enjoy.

On tap at Higgins Ale Works Friday 5th May 2023 in the company of Jonas and Ursula. Apparently this is close to the end of the ke the keg, glad that we got to try it. Pours a dirty reddy pink colour, nice carbonation, soft mouthfeel, refreshing beer, nice soft tartness, not as zappy as expecting, but actually I really like it for that, I could drink a few of these very easily. Great beer/wine hybrid, with Flügge sadly gone perhaps Higgins could exploit this gap in the market?
